Pax Republica: A Star Wars MUSH

It is a time of peace and prosperity in the Galaxy. The Galactic Republic spans known space, governing its member worlds from the seat of power on Coruscant, in Core Worlds. As technology improves and more systems are discovered by intrepid hyperspace explorers, the Outer Rim promises treasures and wealth to those with the tenacity and wits to find them.

The worlds of the Outer Rim are much different than those in the wealthy and comfortable Core Worlds. Life on the fringes of the Republic is hard, and only the tough, tenacious, and clever have what it takes to thrive. Fringe worlds can't rely on help from the Republic, and Fringers don't rely on anyone but themselves.

The Jedi Order is at its peak, its Knights and Masters spread throughout the Galaxy working to maintain peace in the Republic. Yet even now, something dark and dangerous stirs from beyond the Outer Rim, its presence felt only by the strongest of Jedi, and yet its influence threatens to corrupt and destroy the peace both the Jedi and the Republic have worked to build.
